There’s a Moose in the House: Naptime Card Game Fun

During nap time this week, Jorryn and I tried out a new game that we haven’t played before. It’s called There’s A Moose In The House and we loved it! Here’s why:

  • The illustrations are super cute. I love the Moose’s face!
  • It’s easy to play. The instructions seemed a little confusing at first, but we decided to jump in and start playing. We ended up getting the hang of it as we played and had a great time!
  • Jorryn liked that he was on an even playing field with me.
  • I liked that each game was short, so it’s perfect to play during down time that might not last. {Read: naptime of younger siblings}
  • We thought it was even more fun when we started adding silly phrases to shout out when a moose arrived in one of the houses.

Like most Gamewright games, you have to read the instructions a few times for them to make sense, but once you get started, it’s simple and lots of fun. We will be playing again soon and including other family members!

    Very cool! My daughter is going to get this for her kids! You’re right, a short playing time is a plus when there are other kids napping. Thanks for the info! (I pinned it, I’m impressed)

    I think I should get this for when my grandchildren visit. I mostlyhave to tell them a story and then the next day they want the same story and if I mess up or forget something they correct me I dont think they know I am just coming up with it as I go one-lol

    This sounds like fun. Perhaps my boys would like it.

    Short playtime is good, but I might need to ask you a few questions about how to play. 😉

    I think we need this. Short is just what we need so we can get in as many games as possible. LOL Thanks for posting about it.
