Super Easy Cupcake Pouring

Do you ever have one of those eureka moments while you’re in the kitchen?

I did.

And I’m going to share it with you just in case you hadn’t thought about this yet either!

Normally when I make cupcakes or muffins, I end up having to clean up the edges of the pan even when I try to be really careful.

Not anymore!

My cousin got me a nifty pancake kit as a housewarming present last year. {Thanks, Melissa!} Which led to my genius idea. Use the pancake pourer to pour the cupcake batter in the cups!

Now, maybe you’ve already thought of this. If you have, congratulations. But don’t burst my bubble. This was an exciting discovery for stay at home me.

After mixing the cupcake batter, I poured it in the pancake squeeze bottle {you could also use those mustard/ketchup squeeze bottles too!} and then squeezed each portion evenly into the cupcake liners! Not only was there no mess around the edges, I was able to get the cupcake liners filled evenly since I could actually control how much batter was going in!

Clean up was a breeze too since I was able to wash the bottle out with hot water.

So there you have it.. my genius discovery! Hope it helps you too! 🙂
