Sliced Baked Potatoes.

These sliced baked potatoes are insanely good. I wanted to try something a little different for a side dish and these certainly were a hit! They were really easy to make but delivered a huge taste!

Ingredients for Sliced Baked Potatoes

  • potatoes
  • olive oil
  • butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Sliced Baked Potatoes

First, I scrubbed the potatoes clean since  we’re leaving the skins on for this recipe. Thinly slice the potatoes, but don’t cut all the way through – you want them attached at the bottom. They will fan out a little. Then, I sliced butter and tucked it in between the potato slices. Next, I drizzled with olive oil. Finally, I sprinkled them with salt and pepper. I baked at 425 degrees for 40 minutes.

The outside was crisp and the inside was soft like a regular baked potato. Even though I have some picky eaters, everyone loved these! It was a familiar taste kicked up a notch! Absolutely delicious! I will definitely be making these again soon!

My family and I make these but we add herbs and spices which makes this dish less even more amazing and flavorful! Try slicing fresh garlic really thinly and adding it in next to the butter, as well as fresh rosemary! some paprika and a little bit of cayenne are a good thing to add as well. 🙂
