Paprika and Brown Sugar Chicken

Paprika and Brown Sugar Chicken.

Now that I’m back from Chicago, it’s time to get in the swing of things around the house. That means cooking! I made this easy dish for dinner last night and it was a HUGE hit with everyone. Even my picky eater, Jorryn! That’s when I know I’ve done well with a recipe: when Jorryn eats it happily and asks for seconds and thirds!

The flavor of these chicken tenders is delicious! It’s a little sweet from the brown sugar and has a little kick from the paprika, but not too much. I will definitely be making this again soon!

Ingredients

  • 8 boneless, skinless tenders {you could also use four breasts}
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/8 cup of extra virgin olive oil for the pan

Over medium heat, pour your EVOO in the pan. On a plate, sprinkle brown sugar, then paprika over your chicken. Add a dash of salt and pepper to your preference. Add the chicken to the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes on each side until chicken is completely cooked and slightly crispy. Serve and enjoy!

    Oh, how I love the combination of paprika and brown sugar! I can see how the chicken would get that sweet glaze on it from the picture. Layne, my mouth is watering over this recipe, and it’s so easy. A 2 minute prep time? How can you beat that? THANK YOU. (Makiing this tomorrow night!

    Sounds great! Chicken is a staple around here, and it is sometimes a challenge to think of another way to cook it that the family will like. But this sounds like a winner, I’ll try it soon.

    I am always looking for new ways to do chicken. I think my kids would love this too! I love that it doesn’t take a lot of prep time or fancy ingredients – just stuff I have in the pantry anyway. Thanks for sharing!
