3 Tools You Can Use to Make Money on Almost Anything You Buy

I’m always on the lookout for more savings opportunities. As you are probably aware, the internet offers thousands of them, from coupon sites to discount sites to cash back sites, the Internet has made living frugally doable.

In this article, we’re going to cover 3 ways of saving money on nearly anything you buy online. Here we go!

1) Top Cash Back – Cash Back On Most Online Purchases

This is one of my favorite ways to make money on almost anything I buy online. TopCashBack.com will give you cash back on most online retailers if you simply go to their site first, search for the retailer, and then click on the link they give you. It’s that simple.

Here is an example of what their site looks like. You can see that all you need to do is click the link and you’ll get 4% back on your Walmart.com purchase!

Again, Top Cash Back is one of my all time favorite ways to save money.

One note though… it can take a few weeks for your transactions to register, so you’ll need to delay your money-saving-gratification a little bit.

I’ve found that if you use it religiously though, you can save $500 or more in a year and have a nice little pay off – all for just clicking a few links before you buy!

2) Raise.com – Get Gift Cards for Nearly Everything

My next favorite money making technique is to use Raise.com. Raise is a gift card site that lets you buy gift cards at discounted rates. Essentially, you’re making instant money when you do this.

So for example, let’s say you were going to shop at HomeDepot.com for some household items. You could first stop by Raise.com and buy a gift card. It looks like this:

You can see that currently there are gift cards available for 5.9% off! This means that you would instantly save almost 6% on your Home Depot purchase if you first went to Raise.com and just purchased the gift card first.

I know what you’re thinking… you don’t want to wait for forever for them to ship you the card in order for you to go shopping right? Well, you don’t have to!

Most gift cards on Raise are available as “Egift” cards or “Vouchers.” Both of these are sent to you electronically, usually within minutes so you can continue shopping online without waiting.

(There are some gift cards that are physical gift cards, so you do want to double-check when you’re buying them to make sure. This can actually be a benefit if you are going shopping at Walmart or another local store, and sometimes you can get even better discounts on physical cards because they are not as highly in demand.)

3) Bonvera.com – Shop. Save. Share.

My absolute favorite money saving website is Bonvera.com. Bonvera is a brand new website that a) has great prices on brand-name stuff you probably already buy (like Ziploc bags, Crest toothpaste, etc.) and b) allows you to refer other people and earn recurring, residual cash on anything that anyone else purchases that you have referred.

This is similar to Amazon.com’s Associate program where they pay you a percentage of the sale if you refer them. The difference is that Amazon only pays for the one sale, where Bonvera pays you for the entire life of the customer you referred. It’s like Amazon’s program, but on steroids.

The idea is this – you and everyone you know are going to be buying stuff anyway, so you might as well get “in” on some of the revenue made on those products. Bonvera is the best way to do this at the moment. You can read more about Bonvera here.

One quick note… Bonvera is VERY new, so most people don’t know about it. This is a good thing and a bad thing. The bad news is that they only have about 100 products right now available for sale, which of course is puny compared to Amazon or even Walmart. However, the good news is that because they are so small, this is probably the first time you’ve heard about it and that means you have a huge opportunity to refer other people before anyone else does.

So here is the BEST PART! – Use All 3 Strategies Together

You can use all 3 of theses strategies together!

Inside of Bonvera.com there are “affiliate stores” which work mostly the same as Top Cash Back. These are stores such as Target, Sam’s Club, PetSmart, Drugstore.com, Gander Mountain, and BestBuy that you can shop at through Bonvera to earn points that you get paid on.

Of course, before you go to these stores, you can head over to Raise.com and buy gift cards for them to lock in your savings on discounted gift cards.

On top of these two things, you can refer other people to Bonvera after you sign up and then you can refer other people who do this same thing and make money for your referrals!
