Crockpot Chicken Soup.

 

I am all about using my crockpot as often as possible. This recipe for crockpot chicken soup is quick and easy and very, very tasty. It was definitely a crowd pleaser in our house!

 

Ingredients for Crockpot Chicken Soup

 

  • 1 large can of chicken
  • 1 package each of frozen corn, frozen peas, frozen green beans {could use fresh if available!}
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped into slices
  • 1 cup of chopped carrots
  • 2 large potatoes, cubed
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large boxes of chicken stock

 

How to Make Crockpot Chicken Soup

 

Combine all ingredients in your crockpot on high for 3-4 hours so that the veggies get tender. It’s also works to leave it on low and let it simmer for the day. It turns out delicious!

    That looks yummy! I really have to start utilizing my crockpot more…..I was on a “kick” when I first got it but once the first summer rolled around I stopped because of the heat. Even though it is summer now I’m sure that I could find something that wouldnt be so “winter food”. 🙂

      I use it a TON in the summer because it helps keep my kitchen a lot cooler than using the stove! Thanks for stopping by!

    Sounds so good. I wonder if the cans of vegal would work. I use it a lot in different soups that I make and it sure saves time and is quite good.. All I have to add is the onion. Just a thought but your recipe sounds really good. 🙂

    Yum! I was honestly looking for a recipe and this is pretty darn easy. Adding it to my list but using rotisserie chicken since I don’t like canned.
