Best Ever Chilli.

 

Since winter doesn’t seem like it will ever end, I made a big pot of my best ever chilli to enjoy. This is always a big hit with our family and I’m sure you’ll love it as much as we do!

 

Ingredients for Best Ever Chilli

 

  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 onion
  • 1 large V8
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 3 cans kidney beans
  • 2 tablespoons garlic
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste

 

How to Make Best Ever Chilli

First, in a large pot, I browned the hamburger with the onion, which I chopped up. After the meat was cooked, I poured the V8 and chicken broth. Then, I added all the other ingredients. Let simmer for at least an hour. But it’s also delicious to leave simmer on low on the stove for the day! It also freezes really well!

    I love making my own chili! I’ve never thought of adding V8 that sounds like a great way to sneak in some goodness.
